The deadline to submit proposals was September 5.
Big Ten faculty and staff were invited to submit a proposal to give a 3-minute, informal lightning talk at the October 10 Big Ten LCTL town hall to:
- Share information about local strengths in LCTLs that might be leveraged in new partnerships with others in the Big Ten
- Describe an innovative model for expanding access to LCTLs that might be replicable by others
- Showcase exemplar LCTL projects that might be of interest to others in the Big Ten
Given time constraints, the 3-minute limit will be strictly enforced.
The lightning talks don’t have to be formal presentations!
All presenters will be able to share one slide, if desired, that they will need to send to the meeting organizers by Friday, October 3, so that we can compile all slides into one master slide deck. We will also create a Google Doc for presenters to share links to related resources.
We plan to review proposals as soon as possible after the September 5 deadline.
