About the brown bag

In this brown bag conversation, we will consider generative AI in relation to writing and the teaching of writing. We will discuss the ethics of AI, particularly bias inherent in algorithms; how AI might enhance or detract from the writing process; and how to develop policies around AI. We will also explore sample writing assignments that make use of generative AI.
