Working on Campus – Spring 2021

The University of Wisconsin-Madison will welcome some students and staff back to campus as scheduled for the start of spring semester classes on January 25. If you are returning to campus this spring, please make sure that you complete the Covid-19 Training for Spring 2021 and are familiar with the new campus policies and procedures designed to help keep our campus and surrounding communities safe and healthy. The COVID-19 Response website will provide you with necessary information about expanded testing with rapid results and a new app, Safer Badgers, which students, faculty, and staff will need to use to participate in testing and to access campus facilities and services.

Please note that to access any building on campus, staff and graduate students would need to have tested negative for COVID-19 in the last 8 days at one of the testing sites on campus.

Entering Van Hise Hall

The population density limits in buildings need to be followed as set last fall. Everyone from the Language Institute who will work in the building on a regular basis needs to inform Jana Martin, associate director, of the specific days and times when they will be present and complete entries on the Van Hise building calendar page. The calendar is managed by the building manager and LSS department administrator Erika Schock. In cases of drop-ins for a brief period of time, respective individuals need to contact Martin at least 24 hours in advance so she can approve the request.

Please note that to access any building on campus, staff and graduate students would need to have tested negative for COVID-19 in the 8 days prior to thei rcampus visit at one of the testing sites on campus.
