Laura Marshall graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009 with a BA in Russian and International Studies. In 2007-2008, she received a David Boren scholarship to study in Russia at Moscow International University. Following graduation, Laura worked for American Councils for International Education in Russia and Armenia as a participant recruiter for the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program. She received a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowship to study at Stanford University in 2012, where she earned a master’s degree in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies.
