About the Workshop

In this in-person workshop, the presenters from the 2021 Interdepartmental Orientation Workshop for New Language Instructors will engage with the participants on the topic of flexibility in the language classroom. The participants will be encouraged to discuss the impacts of classroom flexibility on their instruction practices and student learning, and will compare their and their students’ expectations. The workshop will provide space for the language instructors to reconnect and share their teaching experiences in small groups of their peers.
