Writing to Speak: Activities for the Language Classroom
This workshop-style presentation will demonstrate how writing can be used as a bridge for speaking activities to elicit targeted vocabulary and grammar. Relevant for language instructors teaching first-year language courses and beyond.
Julie Larson-Guenette is a graduate of the doctoral program in German and Second Language Acquisition (minor). Prior to her graduate studies she worked in K-12 education. Currently she is a Faculty Assistant in the Department of German, Nordic and Slavic and a Field Supervisor for teacher education candidates at Edgewood College.
