About the Workshop

In this workshop, presenters from the 2022 Interdepartmental Orientation Workshop for New Language Instructors will address the topic of intercultural competence in the language classroom as it relates to both students and instructors, including how instructors who come to the United States from other countries address cultural differences in their teaching. The workshop will provide space for participating language instructors to reconnect and engage in small groups of their peers.
