For UW Students

Even though World Cinema Day is a high school outreach program, there are ways for UW students to get involved in promoting language and culture on campus and in the community.

Volunteer Opportunities

At World Cinema Day, we need volunteers to greet arriving high school students, guide lost students, and basically help make the event run smoothly. Currently we are seeking volunteers to help with the 2008 World Cinema Day. Please contact our volunteer coordinator or visit the general Language Institute UW-Student page for more information on how to get involved.

Wisconsin Film Festival (April 3-6)

Catch Fermat's Room at the Wisconsin Film Festival on Sunday, April 6 at 8:30 pm at the Orpheum Theatre. To see the Film Festival's exciting lineup of 220 films in four days, go to www.wifilmfest.org.
