Date:
Fri, 09/25/2015 - 12:00pm
Location:
254 Van Hise Hall
Speaker and Affiliation:
Mark Kaiser, University of California, Berkeley

In the first part of this talk I will demonstrate various features of the LFLFC: mechanisms for searching for film clips, ordering clips, and creating annotations and lesson plans. I will show how faculty might create their own clips from films in the database. Following this ‘show and tell’, we will discuss ways that clips are being used or might be utilized in the foreign language classroom, drawing on the experiences of all present.
