Lecture: On the Division of 'Prosodic' and 'Non-Prosodic' Resources in Talk-in-Interaction
Gareth Walker, University of Sheffield
4:00 pm, Monday, November 10
254 Van Hise Hall, 1220 Linden Drive

However, it is the consideration of prosodic--rather than general phonetic--features which seem to dominate current thinking. In this talk, Walker will set out some reasons for dealing with the phonetic design of talk in its totality. Learn more >
